B&D has established the reputation of having reliable technical expertise and experienced personnel. B&D offers an array of services including certified ASME/National Board CODE welding, fabrication, process piping, equipment installation, ASNT Certified Inspectors (NDT) and custom manufacturing.
Through B&D's experience, application and determination, we have emerged as a corporation with better design and material accessibility. Our broad fabricating capabilities enable us to achieve most any desired welding construction in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
B&D is a holder of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certification for shop and field fabrication of pressure vessels and power boilers. The National Board of Boiler Inspectors certificate of authorization certifies B&D to repair, alter and re−rate boilers and vessels. We hold the "R", "S", "H", "PP", "NB" and "U" Stamp certifications. In addition, B&D is certified by the U.S. Coast Guard, the American Bureau of Shipping and the U.S. Navy to perform work internationally.
B&D has three primary divisions of Production.
- Industrial − The bulk of B&D's work, this division is primarily responsible to handle custom manufacturing, new construction, and major renewals of our larger clients. These projects consist mainly of fabrication (welding and assembly).
- Commercial − This division maintains smaller accounts than those of the industrial projects, but occurs much more frequently. This includes boiler maintenance, smaller repairs and renewals, controls and product sales.
- Marine − all military and commercial marine contracts.
